Let me just say that the preview does NOT really show EVERYTHING that is in this kit! There is soooo much in it that there was almost no way to add it all to a preview.

But there is enough stuff in it that you would NOT have to even use any fruit if you didn't want too! But how can you resist those little guys?! Can you tell they are totally Amy's! Any fan of hers would have known that! Cool kit ladies! Thank you!

Cali trip

Found a ride from point a to point b! Val said she would pick us up and take to the retreat! WAHOO! It's great to have friends from all over the world because you can usually work it out to see them. Now let's get Bestey down there! Or up or over. whatever direction she needs to go! Just do it!

This is going to be sooo fun. And doing digital means a lighter packing job! heehee
Might not have to check any luggage! It will be summer so just light and airy clothes. Fun times! I can't wait! Now to just find a sub for work...ugh....mission impossible.

Anywho...that's my news for the day. It's a super crappy weather day here so I think I will head to our school play. They usually do a great job but I haven't heard much about this years yet so I am not sure. I can't even remember the name of the play. yikes...what am I doing to myself! heehee Gotta support our students though no matter what. And I am sure Zander will do this when he gets older. He loves doing plays/skits. I'm not sure he's really my child. This coming from the girl who hates to get up in front of anyone.

I am in the best mood ever! We just had Joe Reilly come to the school to do 3 presentations to our students. WOW! It was soooo awesome. I can't even begin to tell you how proud I was of our students as well. They were so well behaved and respectful.

Parent Group provided the funds for his visit and it was the best money we have spent in a long time! I am thrilled that our music teacher got him here! I would love to have him back again. If you are looking for a wholesome, educational, and even Green form of entertainment....check him out! He's local Michigan Boy too! Which makes it even more special!

Do me a favor and go peek at his site and trust me, if you have the funds, you should get his CHILDREN OF THE EARTH CD. It's soooo cool! And educational but don't tell the kids and they will love it even more! wink wink!

I have talked about it long enough and I am going to take action. I have promised myself that I would get to one of my dear friends retreats no matter what and now is the time. She opened up a summer one and this finally fits my schedule. So myself and Bev are going to fly out and just do it! A girls ONLY weekend!!! Wahooo....who's coming with us?

Funny, Strange, yet still funny

So very rarely will I look at my feed to see who visits my tiny little blog...but for whatever reason, I did just now. And I saw that someone from Canada from a blog called craftlikemad was here and it was a direct hit. I was intrigued so I went looking. Her name is Maddy and she has a ton of designers listed on her blogroll. From really big names to names I didn't know. But all designers. So then there was me?! ME? Why? I have no clue who this person is other than the fact that she loves to craft! HUGE PLUS in my book! LOL but I was listed there?! LOL So I went thru her very very long list of blogs and they were all designers of some sort. I just had to chuckle about it. So if you are reading this Maddy, THANKS! It was very kind of you to have me listed on your blog roll but I am sure there has to be a mistake! I am NOT a designer. And don't ever see it happening! LOL I'm a creator/crafter but nothing more. well, a tad crazy too! Just had to share that little funny.

So Blessed

Well, it's been a really really rough week for me, emotionally. Work has me up in knots, my MIL, my StepMom. It seems like I am just one big emotional basketcase. I tend to get so caught up in things that I forget to see things for what they really are to me. The boys went out to play on the trampoline today and I just layed on the hard deck in the sun thinking. I could hear the boys laughing, then fighting, then back laughing. It was peaceful. I got some time reflect with the Man. I found myself asking him for this time to stop. I didn't want to move. I just wanted to lay in that sunshine and think. I wanted to feel the warmth of the sun, the boys, the peace that beginning to wash over me. It felt good. Really good. For a just few brief moments I didn't have one care in the world. Nothing really mattered for those few moments. Work issues were forgotten, cancer was not slapping me in the face, the boys laughing was like a pill that calms every nerve ending. It was Heaven on Earth. Then reality hits me hard....MOMMY....He pushed me, he pushed me first, no I didn't, yes you did, stop it, you stop. Dog takes off running after a bird, car honks at the neighbors, sun goes behind a cloud, cool breeze kicks up and all that was gone. But I had it!

Life's moments shared

well, I am ready for Spring. I am so ready to move forward with Life in general. I can't let the bad stuff consume my every thoughts. I was just sitting here at the table thinking about life in general and I decided to open up photo shop and this is what happened.

I used the Ettes and Company for the top layout and mostly Sine's stuff on the bottom one. It was from ScrapOrchards blog train earlier in the week. I am ready for change.

We got some bad news with my MIL and I am not really sure I can process it all right now. It is so frustrating to me that we have to go thru all this crap again. It brings up a lot of rotten memories from my Grandpa too. It scared me to think that another person I love almost as much as life itself has cancer now too. I truly wish I could fix the world and make it so NO ONE ever has to go thru it.

So I need your continued prayers for my MIL and my Step Mom. Both are battling breast cancer and need all the prayers they can get from across the globe.

Hump Day

Well its the middle of the week but sure felt like a Monday to me today! LOL Other than the fact that I wasn't at work. (TG)

I worked at the school all day today to help out while MIL was out. Ate lunch with the boys at school too. It's good to have that special time with them one on one sometimes. We had some major thunder roll through today but not too much in the line of rain yet. Looks horrid outside though so I am sure it's coming.

I have been working on a few layouts for Friday release date. Kristin Aagard had the cutest Gotta Grab It pieces coming to GottaPixel and Krystal Hartley had done another collab with a Wild West theme to it. Both kits are totally different but I love them both. I am so excited for you to see Kristin new "kit". I say kit but it will be available in pieces for the normal Gotta Grab It stuff.

I am loving my CT's right now. Gosh I am so lucky to be where I am currently. See...so many great things to be thankful for. Oh....I know something else...my sister called me last night. She is pretty sure she found a place to hold her wedding. (pinch me) I Still am in SHOCK that my sister is getting married. Seriously...NEVER did I think it would happen! LOL We are constantly talking about Wedding things together. I love it! Now...need to hit the gym hard! lol

Anyone have any plans for this weekend? I don't really. Josh has a show sat. but we will just be 'hangin out' at home while he's gone doing his thing. It's nice to have that extra money coming in right now again. With the economy being what it is...he has slowed to a stop with shows lately. But then out of no where he has had a few each weekend.

MIL's Surgery

My MIL's surgury today went well. She is home recovering. It was a larger mass than earlier believed but they hope they got it all and we should know soon if that is true. Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes. Please keep her in your thoughts as she recovers from this both physically and emtionally. They will start radiation therapy soon as well.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Just a quick note of LUCK.
My life is spinning out of control this week it seems and I have no way to stop it.
So any extra luck you all have to give is gladly accepted here!

I say that it is time for to a total life overhaul. I need to evaluate my priorities and evaluate whom I consider 'friends'. I put a lot of trust into my friendships. And I give it back in the same fashion. I have one situation right now that is just baffling me. And it breaks my heart. I truly thought I was a better judge of character than this too. So I will be very careful with my words around them from this moment forward.

This is all real life stuff...not online issues! LOL Why is that my online friends are better to me than my real life ones?? Am I that rotten of a human that I deserve to be treated so bad to my face or technically behind my back if you want the real truth of the matter. Grr... I am not perfect by any means I can't remember a time when I EVER claimed to be. I am usually the first one to give up my faults and shortcomings. But if I tell you something in confidence, it is to remain that way. You do not use that information for your own gain. That is NOT FRIENDSHIP. That is dishonesty. Lying. Betrayal. Call it what you want but the end result is PAINFUL. Thanks for nothing.

Rough news

I just got some rotten news today that really pulls at my heart strings. My MIL, who is like a best friend for me, just dicovered she has a form of breast cancer. So that's two of my parents in the last month. My StepMom and now my MIL. Why?
I am just praying they both have excellent outcomes and I refuse to let it get me down. We will fight the battle and win! I know it.

So if you have it in you, say a couple prayers for them. Pam and Maggie are their names. Keep them in your thoughts as they move through this difficult time towards a full recovery.
