Shutterfly photobook

I just ordered a Shutterfly photobook with 75 pages. Seriously...do I really scrap that much!? YEP!!! They are having a 20% off sale right now. So I got all that for $72. I couldn't have them printed and then put in album for that price. So it just made sense to have it done as a photobook. I'll let you know how I like it. I have heard mixed reviews about the quality. I have used them once before a photobook and it was good...so cross your fingers!

I just printed a bunch of stuff in Jan 09 then again in March 09. I try to print stuff every 3 months or so. Easier to stay on top of it that way.

Graduation Announcement/Thank you Card

Ok...Here's some things I worked on that I could not share until now. But I also want your input...Which of the THANK YOU cardfronts do you like the best? I have my Fav but want to know yours. Please tell me! Thanks! This is my little cousin that just graduated this weekend. So help me out and tell me which one you like. 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. And our school colors are Orange & Black...so that's why those colors. Although they picked Silver and Navy for graduation gown colors.

Busy again...still?!

So this weekend was a blur...Friday was the last day of school and we moved right into the graduation mode shortly thereafter. Had a cousin Graduating this weekend with an open house on Saturday night. So I have been very busy with helping out with that. I have not even opened up photoshop in a few days. Today was the actual Graduation and then we went to my Inlaws to work on/in the garden. We planted pinto beans and watermelon today! Great combo huh!?

Josh has been super busy too so I haven't seen him much this past week/month/year?! LOL BUT....Tomorrow is a new day and I HOPE we can finally just 'lay low'. We have the Memorial Day Parade that will go past my house this year for a total of 3-4 minutes! LOL It's super short as always. The vets, HS band, some bike riders, and the fire trucks. No candy. My house is just up the road from the cemetery so by the time they get to us, they are always OUT.

so this whole weekend has really got me thinking about my own sons. It's amazing how fast this time goes. My oldest is officially in his last year at the elementary school and it off to Middle school which means...3 years later, HS? WHAT?! Ok so I know it's like 4 year away but still. In just 5 years we are here at the current state of affairs! So that's like no time at all! LOL

I just pray my boys will continue to hold education as a high priority. We are always enforcing the need for learning. It's vital for a successful future. It's been proven time and time again. I just pray they continue down this current path. I am so proud of my sons and seeing my little cousin graduate today really got me thinking about this...we can only do so much for them and then there comes a time when they have to spread their wings and fly. Will I have given them enough love, encouragement, faith, hope, praise, knowledge, trust to see them into the future? whew. That's deep.

School's Out!!

Teacher let the fools out! Whew...where DID this year go?? WOW!? It was a super year. And as sad I was to see it end...I'm glad it's over. I long to just hang with my boys again. I fell like I am watching Zander move into a new phase of his life and I am afraid I won't be able to spend as much time with him in the future. Will still NEEDS me, but Zander can function on his own very nicely. Why did I raise him to be independent??

We were blessed with the BEST TEACHERS this year. I feel like I added to my personal family. It's wonderful. Now we move onto next year. Winds of change have blown and things will be VERY different next year. I am just going to look at the silver lining and move forward. We can't change it so we might as well just enjoy the ride! I had my moment of tears and I am ready to smile and move forward.

So I am now officially the mother to a 5th Grader and 2nd Grader. WHAT?! Man, that sounds really bad. I can't believe it. I have two very very very smart kids and I am very proud of each of them. Ok...darn these tears...go away. Man, I am sooo emotional. whew...

15 years and counting

Happy Anniversary to us!! May 21, 1994....Yep, 15 years of marriage has come and gone. And we are both still alive to talk about it! heehee So it will be a nice long weekend for us and I just hope the weather holds out. It was flipping 83 here today. And upper 60's yesterday. It's no wonder we are still dealing with one person sick on the family at all times since October.

Drowning in responsiblity

oh dear....I feel like I am spinning out of control with responsibilities. It's time to do something about that issue. I am going to have to step down from a couple of my CT's. I just can't possibly keep up this pace. I look back at the past few weeks and I have no clue how I did it. Well yes I do, you can't see my house. LOL Whew...it's in dire need of some attention. So I am going to put a few names in a hat see what happens. I have few changes in some current CT's coming up that are going to require more of a commitment than I was required to do. Peta Boardman is making a huge move to ScrapbookGraphics...She's gonna be a studio girl!!! So I really want to focus on getting her up and running. And few friends of mine are taking off with their designs as well and I need to be there for them too.

So...off to think.

Computer Virus

ACKkkk.....I had a freakin rotten computer virus today that I got at 4Shared...grrrrr....It cost me a pretty penny to get it off too dang it all because I was trying to download a freebie. I think I am done doing that now.

So my whole computer is jacked up now too. I have spent hours today re-installing and fixing crap. yes, I am using bad language...I'm ticked.

Not how I wanted to spend my Mother's Day. We did go down to my MIL for lunch and I saw my own mom for 3 minutes. I am stressed beyond words with life so I don't have much to report other than this.

I have so many kits waiting for me and no time to do them. I was thinking I would stay up late tonight to get them done but I just can't. I'm way too tired and stressed out from the weekend events. I've never been so glad to see a Monday.

Not stopping...

I am just coming up for air here. Oh my goodness...what a rush. I worked all day thursday...got home about 7:45pm, didn't even eat dinner. Bathes, checked homework, computer time, bed. Back up at 6am. At the school at 7:30 AM left the school at 9:40 PM! NO JOKE. In the middle somewhere, I ran home to get my camera to drive to Adrian to check on the church for today's wedding but the rest of the time was devoted to the school. I took an hour and half leave from the grounds. Can you say SORE FEET. I am sooo sore. I switched to Tennis shoes in the late afternoon but it didn't help. FUN NIGHT was a blast! Its soooo much work though. And the parent volunteer levels were almost non-existant. SAD. Those that give their time give it 200% and those that don't DON'T. So I think they will have a rude awakening next year when there is NO FUN NIGHT. We are going to focus or effort on other things for the kids and try to push the fund raising early in the year instead. You just can't pull off something of this size with 9 parent volunteers in a school with 400 students. If we didn't have the National Honor Society Students from the HS we would have been lost. A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to those students. And to those few parent who donated time, THANK YOU. And to the staff that helped, donated items....THANK YOU TOO!

I have a similar day today. I have a wedding to shoot today at 2pm. I hope I have enough energy to pull it off smoothly. And that I can actually walk by then. I am not kidding...my legs, feet hurt so bad from standing ALL DAY. Whew...I'm used to sitting and cleaning teeth! LOL

I have some really cute kits to work with once I catch a break. Krystal Hartley and Kristin Aagard BOTH released an alien type kit this week! FUNNY! Must be the HOT TREND of the week?! Meredith has a super cute melon mini kit coming up. And then not to mention all those great FREEBIES over at DSA! whoot!

Kitty Designs-SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE

So, I must say this...Kitty Chen of Kitty Designs is THE nicest person. I had some personal issues with a collab kit and she allowed me to share my concerns and then on top of that...she let me shop within her store. And it had NOTHING to do with her stuff. AMAZING. I repeatedly told her I didn't want her to do it but she insisted. So I picked up a few things and then bought more! This is from her Wishes and Dreams kit. Her stuff is so different than my normal kits but it is a blast trying new stuff. I also got: BeeBuzzBuzz and The Garden Poetry.
And you guys know my freaky issues with CQ. And she passes. Man, when did I become such a type A freak? LOL oh wait....I always have been. SO THANK YOU KITTY! Super Customer Service!

New Month New Header

I am so in love with Krystal Hartley's newest kit, Shabby She...I had to use it for my Header for May. How fitting with Mother's Day just around the corner, huh. I have a wedding on Saturday to Shoot so that will fun. It's my BFF's from HS's nephew so I know the family very very well. Looking forward to a nice day.
