Amy Teets Design

I bought these 4x6 quick pages. I thought this was the best idea!!! I need to figure out how to work up the margins within LT so I can make them up and have them printed in 4x6 format. I saw a few of these in the digi shops I browse. I love them! I had to use PS CS2 to create them though. They are NOT done in LifeTimez. Here's something else that I hate about other digi items...you can't move them around. I love that with LifeTimez we can actually MOVE things on our quick pages. Or delete them if we wish. With PNG files...what you see is what you get. I am not used to that. You can ADD items but you can't not move or delete. So, I am calling upon KH to come up with some measurements for a 4x6 size in LT. How stinking cute would an album made in 4x6 size with LT be???!!! HUH?!!! Pretty stinking cute is my answer. I also ordered one of the CLEAR albums. I am stunned that someone came up with this idea! Man, why don't I come up with such great ideas??!!

Just another LT layout

I did this one while stuck in a traffic jam in Atlanta, GA this spring! Did the layout and added the photo later.

Krystal Hartley's Layout...my photo!

Here's my photo on my hero's layout template. Kudos Krystal on a job well done! THANK YOU....
Edit: This photo was taken before we lost Charlie Bucket. He is NOT home yet. He just wandered up to the kids as they were sitting there for me and so we let him join in on the fun. Glad we did now...off to get a tissue...again....

Still no Charlie Bucket

I am finally giving in to the fact that he probably will not be returning. He's neutered so he has no Girlfriends to run off with and I just don't believe he's coming home. My heart aches today. I am worried sick about my dear friend Shell too. She tell me she is going in for surgery and I have no clue what's going on...So for those of you who might know...share.

My baby sister is having a rough time at work. My mom is moving away, but going to be near my sister so I am fine with that but still it's change. My SIL is moving over an hour away soon as well. It's the end of a fantastic school year. My Co-worker is moving to Florida. My other dear friend, Bev, has been having health issues and I worried sick over her as well. Stress....heck no! Hives...me? STILL?? Yep! Wonder why???

Rough day...

I am having a rough day today. My cat has been missing since saturday and I am really getting worried. He is usually right at the door in the morning wanting feed. He is an outdoor cat but is very lovey dovey and wants to be near us all the time. I thought that by doing this layout it would make me feel better. I sure could use some kinds words today. I feel like total crap over this whole thing. It's the whole not knowing that is bothering me. If he is "gone" then I want to know it. I don't want to always wonder what happened. My fear is that he got stuck in someones garage or something. And it is going to be hot here today. So I am all freaked out. Please say a prayer that he is safe and returns home quickly.

Urban Threads

I finally forced myself to do SOMETHING with this new line. I am really lacking in creativity tonight so I should have just waited but I had the time...

Who Wins?

Check out my SLIDE.com and tell me who you think wins the WORST LICENSE PLATE contest between my sister and I. Post your answers here and I will pick a winner for a free goodie from me. I will draw on tuesday to give those of you who might be gone for the holiday weekend a chance in the drawing. You must post the the blog in the comments sections to enter and I will only allow those who sign their names to win. Have fun voting and good luck with my mini give-away. I can tell you, Shell & Wendy, it will NOT be my bags! LOL

MINE...All mine!

These are MY new bags! I had to have a patriotic one for the Holidays and I have always loved the Simple Green fabric and the Summer Stripe fabrics. And I loved the Red Lipstick Paisley fabric too. I put black gingham inside the coin purse! CUTE!

Need Opinions

What are your thoughts on this??? I need a "filler" for goodie bags at 2 day crop I am doing in June. I want to get them to my booth so I can show them LT and offer them a 25% discount off ALL FUTURE orders!! I was going to print these wallet sized (9 to a page) and then mount them on Cardstock? Any thoughts for or against? Be honest.

This went postal today

Watch your mail box Miss Texas! If you notice on the box...I put MI instead of TX...oops. good thing my postal ladies love me! She fixed it for me! She says, "More scrapbooking stuff?" I said nope...another purse. The are finally learning to know me as the "scrapbook girl" and now I am also the "bag Lady"

Enjoy. Mailed priority today!

Holy Hotness

I can't believe how warm (slash HOT) it is in Michigan today. My computer tells me it is 86. For Michigan in May...that is very hot! I have been out and about all day today. I had so many errands to do today and I spent some time this morning playing with LifeTimez again. (I need a 12 step program now I swear) Hi, I am Rach, and I am addicted to LifeTimez...(still smiling with head up high)

I was working on making a card for William's birthday party. I can get a dozen done at Shutterfly for only $7.99.

I can easily turn this into a thank you card for after the party as well!

Demo Page

I get asked all the time if you can add elements to LifeTimez that people have downloaded. YES!!! Yes, you can! I made up this page to show you that you can combine TLC items with other digital elements. This was done with a freebie kit at scrapgirls.com and the designer is Amy Teets the elements are called Sun Porch. I mixed those items with elements from Through the years and my own photo. I hope this will help others understand the abilities of LifeTimez and how wonderful it really is to own!

Ginger

Here's a layout of my sweet spoiled little girl. I was never blessed with a daughter so I have girl pets. Well, I now know why I was never blessed with a daughter. She would have been spoiled rotten. This dog is so spoiled that when I sit down she has to have a paw touching me. I can't talk to my own children or any other pet in the house without her running at me when I do. She demands to be held at times when it just isn't possible. She loves to be held like a baby in your arms. She doesn't like people food all that much.

She thinks our calico cat is her personal plaything. She will attack her and knock her down and just stand on over top of her as if she wrestled and won. She is just plain spoiled. But I can only blame myself for that little habit.

My gift

Here is what I got for Mother's Day and my Anniversary. Josh bought me the gazebo and my mom and my sister helped us buy the chandelier that I sooo badly wanted. I saw this set up in Target way back in the early spring and said I really would love to have it over my patio set on the deck. And I would have to have an outdoor chandelier to go with it of course. I never imagined I would ever get it!

So we can now sit outside without the bugs eating us alive and we now have shade! I do want to get a rug to go under the table now too. Gosh, I am terrible. And I am going to "dress up" my lamp shades with some pretty beaded trim too.

Memories...end of an era

Here's my tribute to my old plate! Used the new Caroline circle & shapes kits with LifeTimez by TLC. Now to figure out how to use the old plate itself. I found so samples of the license plate albums and it involves cutting the plate...gasp....are you serious...I can't cut it! So back to the drawing board.

Good-bye 685UGN

It's a very sad day in my life today. I get home from work tonight and Josh looks at me and says, "Guess What?" and pulls a new license plate out from behind his back. Neighbors within a 3 block radius could have heard me go, "NNNNOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo"

You see, I am very number oriented. I have had that same license plate (hence same number) since I was 16!!! I am 36 so for 20 years I have been 685UGN. There a hundred white vans in town but only one 685UGN. Everyone knew it was me by plate!! It has gotten so rusty over the last 20 years that my boss always told me I was going to get a ticket because it wasn't legible anymore. What do you mean?? I can/could still read it!

So, watch for a tribute to my plate layout...coming soon. Here's a few photos to show you what I am talking about. There are so many "tabs" on the corner it sticks up off the plate itself so far!! I am really considering using this for an album cover. Do you think I should enter it the "altered art" convention contest! LOL Hahaha
So from now on...I will be known as BLL 1877. Which is ok. My grandpa's name was BILL. So I will remember that part. Now...how to remember the 1877??? The start of a toll free number?! The year Rutherford B Hayes became President? I give up...I will just sit and repeat 1877, 1877, 1877 over and over until I learn it!
I know, I am very strange...but my sister shares my same affliction.

Feeling better...

I was able to get up and around better today. The pain is almost gone and I have been feeling better overall. Decided to step on the dreaded scale today too. Haven't done that in over a week. Good news. Down 2 more pounds. And I have NOT been trying so that made me happy! I gave up with the expos and stuff I had going on. Lord knows the food offered at expos are not healthy. So things are looking up. AND! I got my gift in the mail today from Miss Wendy! Thank you! I have to try the stapler later!

Here's a peek at my helper at the expo last weekend. Good help is sooo hard to find! LOL

Feeling Funky

Still not feeling real great from Monday. I am just so busy it seems like I can't take time to get better and I need to slow down. I have got to tell people NO. I worked at the school today. (lunchroom) and shouldn't have. I thought I was going to pass out while I was there...got real dizzy and clammy. I ended up leave a little early. I just push and push and I need to get things done at home too. I am up to my arm pit in Expo stuff at the moment. Hopefully meeting Bev tomorrow to exchange items. I took all the Scrapbook Girl clothes home and took TLC. But when I get it back, I will have to sort it again to put it the way I like it.

Off to bed. I might make it in bed before midnight tonight! I have 10 minutes!

Mother's Day

These are my greatest gifts in life! I had a nice Mother's Day yesterday. Got to spend it with my boys, my nephew, sister, and Josh's family. Home sick from work today. So I have been thinking about life and how lucky I am!

TIRED...BUSY...TIRED...BUSY...TIRED....

What a long few days. Sales are good. On target for last years totals if we do what we did yesterday and today! We have allowed 6 people to join TLC between the two of us. So I have 5 down for Cancun. Several several people really interested but couldn't get them to sign the bottom line. Can only offer so much until you feel silly giving away your first born. I don't understand how anyone would NOT want to do this opportunity. The stuff in the tote is enough to make me want to sign up again. Those bags are soooo awesome too! I think this is the best one yet! Once again. SBG saved our butts. Runway is NOT going over well for us. We have only sold a couple kits. SAD...I just love it. I think it the packaging??? They can't see the beauty of the paper in them. I am going to work it up a little differently for out next expos. Need a touchy feely board, I think. I have samples done up but they must not be good enough to interest them into buying the kits??? I'm clueless...well, we all knew that, but this confirms it for me. So for those of you have had luck with runway...what's the secret??

Those waiting on EL bags from me...They are coming...I have been gone and they might just be waiting for me at home?? Not sure. Haven't had to time to ask hubby that question. Promise...worth the wait. Not sure what the hold is other than me slamming her with a ton of huge party orders all within a couple of weeks of each other.

Sad...

I have to miss William Kindergarten visitation tomorrow because I will be setting up for our MEGA HUGE EXPO...Josh will be going but it still makes my heart ache. I wish I could be there too. And I have to take my camera with me for the show...boohoo...It's sorta added to my stress level today. I wish there was a way to be in two places at once. Gosh, don't we all.

So I will thinking about him tomorrow at 1pm as he enters into his classroom for the very first time to meet his teacher. The plus side of this is that since I am at the school all the time with Will, it won't be as exciting for him. He is so comfortable with being at the school and almost all the teachers know him by name now too. He's famous before he becomes a Hudson Tiger! So I am trying to tell myself that it really isn't that big of a deal and it's only for an hour.

On to a happier note...wish me luck tomorrow night. We will have our Sneak Peek party from 7:30-10pm. We will be demo-ing a Make N Take using TLC papers and coasters. Plus we will be PUSHING HYBRID!

Off to finish up my signs!

Here's my baby and my SIL. Can he really be going to school this fall??? Will I survive??

10 More!

I need 10 more for Cancun! Or 9 if you don't count my back up buy! Both the ladies that signed up this weekend are really excited about it for the digital aspect. Bev had a man sign up with her! He was sooo into it! It was awesome to see how much the men really got into it! We had probably 4 guys sit with us to watch, play, and ask questions. A couple were older gentlemen who have a digital interest already and were blown away at the ease of our product. So, to our lovely designers out there who bother to read about little ole me, MEN STUFF!!! More masculine themes please! The market is there as we have seen!

Off to my REAL job.

Set up complete

We got our stuff set up. Just need to put our price signs in the morning and hook up Bev's 22" monitor for the LT demos. Oh...and load the cash register with money! And then take a picture of the booth. We just did a 10x10 for this show. Wow is that small! Not used to being in such a little area. But we got what we needed in there and let's hope we do well. We only need a 2' area to stand in to recruit, right?!

Off to finish up with my 246 emails. Unbelievable the amount of JUNK mail I get....
Had to post this off Bev's Mom's computer. Still can not log in to blogger on my own laptop? go figure.

Done packing

Well, if it isn't there I don't need it at this point. I am sooo tired. I was up until 1am. I loaded the last of it this morning. My "tool" box, banner, Hybrid sign, clothes, and camera. Shoot...laptop.
BYE!

Packing, packing, still packing

Ugh...I have been packing my stuff for this expo for what seems like forever. And we are NOT taking it all. Since it's a rubber stamp show we are not going in with high hopes. But we are going to take LT and PUSH HYBRID! Got my big ole sign ready to go. Just has the wrong tote on it now...oh well. Efficiency never pays off for me. I am always a day late and a dollar short no matter what.

I should have taken a picture of my living room tonight. I was counting a TLC order and labeling, sorting, packing. It looked like a war zone. And my SBG order arrived. One box was labeled HEAVY OVER 70 LBS! I got 4 of them! Think it will be enough? I sure hope so. I haven't even opened them yet. I just don't have the time.

Back to labeling and then I need to pack my suitcase.

Added 2 more layout to my slide!

I am on a roll, roll tootsie roll! Yea! I am trying my hardest to get some samples worked up for my expo. I also bit the bullet and ordered 5 starter kits to have to sell at MegaMeet next week. So I better sell them or else. That's my motivation to get 5 wonderful people to see the value of TLC! I will certainly allow MANY others to share in my love of LifeTimez!

I will have Josh working with me on Thursday and he is so good at selling stuff that I am sure he will get a few recruits of his own! I am soooo excited about these expos coming up. This weekend will probably not be great. It's a rubber stamp show and I just don't think it will be highly attended. But that will just give us more chances to talk about LT and the Hybrid kit, right!

Here's my annual tulip picture with Zander. I had one teeny tiny tulip come up and that is it! That snow in APRIL killed them!

New layouts

I just added some new layouts to my LT Slide. I used the Travel kit, Wedding, Sisters, Sports, Doodles, Zoo, & School themes. Just mixed and matched them to come up with what you see.

It's fun to mix the kits but you really need to "know" the kits or you could spend forever looking. Well, at least if you own them all like I do! I am thinking I might make a Cheat Sheet for the kits. Put them in a note book of what each kit has...it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with these layouts but once it got going it flowed well.

I encourage you all to just PLAY! That's the only way you will learn this program inside and out. It super easy to use but gets easier the more you play! Have fun!
