38 days

So yeah...I hate to even post this because I know I will get HATE MAIL from a few people...but...38 more days before I leave for Cali!!! WHOOT WHOOT!!! Dudes and dudettes, you must know, I am totally excited for this mini trip. I can hardly wait. Again, I know some of you don't want to hear it but I can't hardly keep it to myself right now. I so need to see my girl Shell again. I wish a few others would be there...shelley, wendy, betsey. I would love to see you too. I have made a promise to Shelley that we will get together within a years time too. Just have to get the finances around. Maybe when I hit the jackpot? Not sure what jackpot but there has to be something out there for me, huh?! LOL So do be a hater...but tell me how much you are jealous of me! Make me feel good! heehee

Whew...

What a whirlwind few days. Let's see...I had six kits released by my designers in a matter of 2 days. I think they all got together and wanted to see me panic! LOL
But ummm...you guys are in for a few really good treats soon! Just sayin'!

So let see...what have I been up too?
Thursday...worked all day.
Friday: Met Bev for a super fast breakfast date with the boys. Then left with my sister for road trip to WV to the Fiestaware Tent Sale! Ahhh...
Saturday: hit the sale. Drove back home. We weren't even gone 24 hrs! Fast shoppers! Got a super cool email! More to come on that later. Not sure I can say anything yet.
Sunday: Scrappped all day trying to catch up with all the kits my designers released. I can't share them yet though. Sorry.

Monday is super busy day too. (work, plus Will has to read to the school board)
Tuesday: Open for now
Wednesday: Ginger Hair cut
Thursday: work all day
Friday: VACATION STARTS!!! WHOOT!!!

Stupid Law in Providence, RI

oh my freaking gosh....you have got to be kidding me: READ THIS LAME LAW:

According to law, no store in Providence is allowed to sell a toothbrush and toothpaste to the same customer on Sundays. Mouthwash and a toothbrush is fine, though!

WHAT?? what could the reason possibly be??? This was a quote in a Digi Store newsletter and I was like, oh come on...so I had to go research it. Weird!!

Poor Zander

We have watched Jon & Kate Plus 8 for years. Since the beginning really. Zander LOVES that show. Well, tonight while we were watching the "new" show they announced they were splitting up. He looked at me with the saddest eyes I have ever seen on him. I just sorta laughed at him to keep the mood light. But inside I was fighting back tears. Just as I am doing now typing this. He said, How sad that they have come this? What??? He's 10. What 10 y.o. has the mind set to ask such a question or to even recognise the magnitude of what happened? Should I be worried? Or proud? I have raised an extremely sensitive child and I think that's pretty cool. Both my boys are sensitive children. And I love that about them. They can be tender and soft but still be BOYS. Man...I have done a wonderful job so far! I just pray those poor Gosselin children grow up healthy, happy, and strong mentally. Wow...wouldn't want to be in their shoes for NOTHING. I feel soooo sad for them. All of them.

The slogan caught my eye...reminded me of Shari Boggs new business name. Things that make you go hmmmm. I've been working with Shari for well over a couple months with this name. Co inky dink for sure.

Arisu Template

So I bought this template and I have been scared to death to try it! LOL I finally just decided that I wanted to do it up and give it to my BFF's Nephew (whose wedding I just shot) and his new bride. I LOVE IT! There are 73 pictures on here! Can you believe it?! When I bought it you could get either the template or the action. I have no clue how to use actions so...I went with the template. Now I am thinking I should have got the actions after spending HOURS uploading those pictures and resizing them. UGH...Why do I do this to myself!? LOL I hope they love it for the amount of time it took to create. I am going to print it 8x10 and figure out something to put on the bottom edge so they can hang it up. Gotta get my thinking cap on.

Strawberry picking

I went strawberry picking for my first time ever on Wednesday! we had a ball. We picked 8 pounds and I am embarrassed to say...they are ALMOST GONE! Zander went nuts and ate a ton of them! LOL but better them than chips, right! He was so awesome. He helped me cut them ALL too. I washed and de topped and he cut them with the pampered chef slicer. Took us a while but we got it done! I have the best kids ever.

Nascar aahhhhhh

So! We went to our very first Nascar Race yesterday. WOW! It was so awesome. My Sister and I sat together and then Josh, Zander & Our soon to be Nephew(cousin) sat in another section together. My sister has never shown an interest in it but went for Zander. I *think* I might have got her hooked in a little! Maybe?! Come on...you have to admit it was totally awesome and way fun! Our seat were on turn 4 and when David Stremme hit those barrels we were just watching and I have the photos!! heehee. He was fine otherwise I wouldn't have chuckled. I am still living on a high from it! I took 127 photos. Huh...did I watch the race or just photograph it? Oh...I told my sis I would give up a body part to be the photographer shooting thru the fence cut-out. ahhh...Or to be up on the platform with the TV crews. But the best news....Jeff Gordon took SECOND!! Sure he would have been in 4th if the leaders hadn't run out of gas but everything works out as it should, right! LOL GO GORDON!!!

Favorite Zoo Animal
