Happy Birthday Papa Bill

Hard to believe it's yet another day that makes the pain of losing you even more painful. Today is/was your birthday. We would have been eating cake and singing to you tonight. I know you would have gone to Skip's for a drink and played Keno. I bet you would have had a grilled ham and cheese for lunch today. So many memories, each one makes me smile! It was always the little things with you. You tought us all the lessons of life. I have lived by your words. I will continue to honor you by being the best person I can be and always giving from my heart. This is one of last trips we took while visiting in florida in 2005. You took us on this really long trip just so that the boys could see alligators. You always wanted to make them happy. And boy did you ever this day. This is just one of many we saw on our trip. God Bless You and thanks for the memories and life lessons. LOVE YOU FOREVER!

Sarah's Cosmetic Bag in Don't be Square with dot bottom.

My Cosmetic bag!! Vines on Red with Denim bottom. LOVE IT!! Place a dollar bill there to show size. It's not huge but still a good size. And it has a nice nylon liner for those little oops that can sometimes happen with make-up. Will just wipe clean. So with this bag, you will need to pick a main body fabric with coordinationg bottom. The liner will just by the black liner.
Check out the seams on the Coin purse. Could those stripes match any better?!! SHE IS AWESOME!! These are roughly 4x4 inches. Come with a zipper. The lime flower one is 5" long. I find it tough to reach the bottom with it being that long. So I want to see them stay 4". Just my opinion!

This is my Jordyn bag to show. Love the fabric combo! It's more of a grab & go bag. Not real big. My sister tell me this is what she affectionately calls a bar bag. It comes with a zipper and exterior pocket. The strap is long but for me, not long enough to wear over my body. Yeah, I know I look very thin in my last photo I posted...but IRL I am much larger! LOL The "girls" make it hard to get much over or around me! LOL

CPR

Need to do my bi-yearly update on Monday night. So won't be around. Nothing like working all day and then doing 4 hours of class. UGH...

I have my ElisaLou Grand Opening Show on tuesday night! Looking forward to it. Sent out over 75 postcards but have only heard from a dozen or so. Not many can make it and now we are getting all this snow. Should be fun either way! Those that are coming are really excited about it. Got one person at the crop yesterday who was really interested in ordering and one who wants me to come back and do a party for her. So things are taking off again for me.

I have weekend retreat this weekend for TLC. I am going to mix things up a bit. Going with a BOGO SALE. Tried the 50% off and didn't work so going to see if Buy one get one Free works! Same price just different view. The word FREE usually gets 'em. I am just at a loss as to what to do to sell some of this stuff.

I thought it was a burgandy color with a floral top? Oh well, you know what they say about beggers...

Bathing suit hunt

I hate this more than any other thing...ok....well, pretty close to it. I bought one off EBay. I have yet to try it on. SCARED. What was I thinking? It's brand new with tags. But WILL IT FIT? I am so cooooollllldddd right now that I don't even want to try it on. But we are going to the Kalahari water park in feb. down in Sandusky, OH. Plus Florida in April.

Long day. So cold here. I have the heat at 74 degrees and I am still cold.

Booked a party for Elisa Lou tonight. An old dear friend, Laurie Cross, from my days with SIAS is going to have one. She is so excited. I think we are going to do it Feb. 11 or 12. So that will be a good excuse for the ladies to buy themselves a nice VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT!

Dang...I was going to post before I went to bed last night but I was so tired, I just went upstairs and forgot. Sorry!

OK...it has been a very odd day. I got up and went in to the school to do my Fl2 program. Took William to Mom's today instead of taking him with me. While I was doing the Fl2 the cook comes up to me and asks me if I would be interested in Subbing in the kitchen today? I said sure, if I can have my Mom keep Will. (she did) She said, "ok, let me go find out if that will be ok with them." She comes back with the school secretary and told me that I need to go to the Main Office across the street to fill out paper work. I said, Why? I already filled out all my volunteer papers. (obviously...as I am one at the moment) she says no you need to fill out w4 forms. I still didn't get it. WHY? I have never know of anyone needing my info for volunteer work. DUH....They are PAYING ME! I just assumed they wanted me to fill in for today. Well, I get paid to do that! It was so fun! Granted it's about 1/3 of what I get paid for my real job, but still! So from 11-1, I was serving carrots!! THEY HATED ME! I give them Fluoride and Cooked Carrots all in one day!!! I RULE! LOL

So I am now on the sub list for kitchen help! I got to wear a hair net!! Where WAS my camera???!!

Here's another thing I noticed today. Kids do not use manners much. I think I heard 5 Thank You's all day. WOW?! Guess what my son and I are talking about over dinner tonight!! you guessed it, MANNERS. He better always remember to say Thank You. He didn't come thru my line as he is Cold Lunch...but if he had...he better say Thank You.

I can't see...

Had my yearly eye exam today and had to do the dilation...I can't see! uuuhhhh....so annoying. I couldn't even pick out new glasses because I couldn't see well enough. Plus the boys were with me and that was not going over well. Will wanted to touch every single pair and Zander wanted to know why he couldn't see well out of the ones he was trying on! Oh man...I just told them I would come back tomorrow when I can see better and didn't have the boys with me.

Gotta go...eyes, burning, very tired, must lay down...

lazy day

Didn't do anything today. Never even left the house. Felt great. We got a little bit of snow today. Wish we could get more.

I have to go to the post office tomorrow to mail back my MM bags. If I have the time, since I have to work tomorrow. Might just have to do it on Tuesday. Off to bed.

Tired

Home from the crop. Didn't move much inventory but got some scrapping done for myself. Now I need to unload the van. Ugh. "Josh...."

I got my refund and I am free of the MM drama. Ahh...

I have an all day crop tomorrow so I won't be around to post. Darn...I will have to do a double post on sunday to make up for my missed day and to keep me on track for my resolution. I failed one already...exercise...What? I didn't hear you??!!

I need a good laugh...

I have been sorta down since yesterday and just feeling in a funk so I was trying to think of something happy. The sad part is that I could not really think of anything off the top of my head. Then I was thinking...hmm...sure wish I had some chocolate...Then it hit me.

For those of you who don't know the whole story...this is the super condensed version.
While on our TLC cruise, I climbed into bed with out noticing the nice piece of chocolate they had put on my pillow. Well, I layed there for a short while and dozed off and on. I then was talking to Bev and decided to roll over and she screams at me not to move. I was freaking out wonder what was wrong. It was all down the side of my upper arm and on my back. It was a MESS. It ruined my new Scrapbook Girl Tshirt too! Well, the room servant must have wondered what happened because I got the funniest look from him the next day. I told, "It was chocolate, I swear!" He just laughed.

Bev has the photos of me laying there with all this chocolate up my arm. It really is a super funny story! OK...that makes me laugh and I feel better now! Ahh...good times, good times.

One Year Today

It has been one year today that I lost my Beloved Grandfather. aka Papa Bill. I have had a very difficult day emotionally today. I have cried more times than I care to tell. I couldn't even bring myself to call my Grandma today. I just didn't want to upset her with my emotions. My sister told me that she called her and she sounded well. Just trying to keep busy. That is what I have done, or tried to do. I did make a small craft project with Will today. Still need to finish it. I will post a picture once we do.

Well, that's all I really have to say today. Other than, I MISS YOU PAPA BILL! Loving you always and missing you still.

Here is a view out of my bedroom window. The sun came out today but never got above 23. So nothing melted. But oh what a sight when the sun hit that ice. Breathtaking...
I had my one on one call with MM tonight. They said a check will be sent out tomorrow. I will believe it when I see it. And even if it does show up...how high will it bounce?! I am owed $361.91! LOL Posted that for you Shell! ( I mentioned it a few times on the phone! LOL ) Just don't want them to forget. And they had the nerve to ask me about returning those dud bags they sent. They will get them when I get my check and it clears. Not before. Plus I am still waiting on one checkbook cover to be returned. They wanted to know why I was returning the checkbook covers. Why would anyone want a check book cover with no bag to put it in?! That is why I am returning them.
POOF...Be gone!

Ice Ice Baby

Oh man, I should have never typed that...I will have that running through my head for the next day and a half...crud....

Anyways, we sure got some of it today. Woke up to no power and a cold house. So off to work I go with no shower and a pony tail! Got there an hour early because I wasn't sure how long it would take. Ugh...could have slept longer. Better early than late.

Power is obviously back on and the house is warming up. Still no shower, hair out of pony tail, but larger than life! Read thru my 83 emails...none of them were confirming Maddy Moo refunds though. SHOCKER! OK, not really but my sarcasms always gets the best of me. However!!! I have a super cool thing to share with you...

Saturday

Just another saturday. Not much happening. I have my nephew overnight tonight. He hates me so this is fun! LOL He just cries the whole time. Hopefully Josh will be home soon and can try to get him to sleep. He sees the boys and just wants to play or I will just get him quited down and one of them will talk and it is all over.

Got a couple digital layouts done for Zander's teacher. She asked me to do a couple layouts with the Christmas party pictures for the class scrapbook. So I used LifeTimez for that task. I had to keep it very simple because we have to so many off. I just kept a white background with very few elements. Looks good enough for what they need it for.

Digital Download OverLoad!

Just thought I would share a list of digital scrapbook places. I have fallen in love with this art form. Just need to master the finer details. I have taken a couple classes PS CS2. (Photo shop Creative suite 2) I was able to get my hands on a complete Adobe software package for under $500. It has CS2, InDesign, Illistrator, ImageReady, Adobe 7.0 professional, I think that's all?~ Don't know what they are all for but I HAVE THEM!! LOL The whole package was $1200 retail and I got a student rate thru our Vo-tech program for adult learning. Yeah!

Rough day too. Wanted to walk of work and not go back. First time that has ever happened in the four years I have been in that office. I am too tired to bother repeating it too.

HELP!

Ok...so I switched to the new BLOGGER last night...now I can not log in on my laptop. My desktop is just fine. But when I try to log in on my laptop it just won't let me. It won't let me "click" on the log in button? It shows the hand but will not do ANYTHING?

Any computer smart people out there want to tackle this?

That's mee eating myy words. I LOVE Wii!!! Oh my gosh, we played bowling on it yesterday and I was kicking butt. We had a blast night night with the boys playing it and then just Josh and I played against each other. That's the first time he and have spent that much time around each other in years! No joke. It was awesome. So I am officially taking back my view on the system. GET ONE! Loads of fun to be had by all. I even boxed! I beat Josh in boxing!! Wahoo! Keeping it real...

Fluoride Lady

Well, I was asked by the school nurse today if I could take over the fluoride program at our school on Wednesdays. It will mean getting ready and dispensing Fl2 to the entire elementary school children. She first just ask me to take over for the month of February while she is gone. Then the secretary started laughing and said tell her the whole story. The whole story was that she want me to take over the job forever. It's just volunteer work so do you still call it a job?! LOL Or would it become a position?! Whatever...it's one more thing to add to my list. And of course, I said yes. Remember, I have a hard time saying NO.

Shoot...that was one of my resolutions. Use the word NO more often. Have you guessed one of my other resolutions???

But they spell it Wii. Josh found one today. HEAVEN at our house tonight. I don't get it. I love games but I just don't get it. What was all the hullabullu over this system. Cut is the answer

Well, I did it. This is a terrible quality picture. Shooting in the bathroom mirror is tough to do by yourself. I got probably 5 inches cut off. And the grey is gone for a short while! LOL Damn Maddy Moo giving me all that grey.

I really like it. I may go shorter later. Need to test run this length for awhile. It's so relaxing getting my hair done. Swapped the cut & color for an ElisaLou Messenger bag and thru in a MM Brianna with monogram! That got me this one free and possible half off my next one! LOL It's good to barter services.

Well, off to figure out dinner. Hoping to have dinner at the in-laws tomorrow as it is Abby's Birthday. Got her an ElisaLou laptop cover. So...do you see a theme here?!
